Female IT Graduate Arrested From Thane Over Death Threat To UP CM Yogi Adityanath

Mumbai: A 24-year-old woman was arrested by Mumbai police in connection with a threat message against Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

The woman, identified as Fatima Khan, was taken into custody from Thane, where she lives with her family.

The message, received by Mumbai Police Traffic Control Cell via WhatsApp from an unknown number, said Yogi will be murdered “like Baba Siddique” if he did not step down as CM within 10 days.

Investigation revealed that the message was sent from Fatima’s phone number.

Police sources said Fatima holds a B.Tech degree in Information Technology and is suffering from mental health issues. Her father is into timber business.

Notably, Siddiqui was murdered last month outside his son Zeeshan Siddique’s office. Jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang claimed responsibility for the murder.

Bishnoi gang has issued several threats to Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who was a close friend of Siddique. Bandra MLA Zeeshan also received a death threat.
