Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is scheduled to visit Singapore for three days from November 18 in a bid to attract global investors to set up ventures in the state.
As per official sources, the Majhi is slated attend roadshow investors’ meet in Singapore ahead of the Utkarsh Odisha Make in Odisha Conclave scheduled to be held in Bhubaneswar on January 28-29, 2025.
The CM will hold discussions with prospective investors and highlight Odisha’s growth story and potential in an effort to attract investment to the state.
The state government has also planned to hold similar roadshow in Europe ahead of the Utkarsh Odisha: Make in Odisha Conclave-2025.
It may be noted that the state government recently held investors’ meets in New Delhi and Mumbai.
The Chief Minister had attended both the events and held interactive sessions with investors and business leaders.
The state government is likely to hold similar meets in Hyderabad in Telangana and Bengaluru in Karnataka in the run up to the Utkarsh Odisha Conclave.
It may be noted that the state government has set a target to attract investment to the tune of Rs 5 lakh crore in next five years.
